Lycée La Fayette – Greta Auvergne | France

Greta Auvergne is an association of 72 public secondary schools in the former Auvergne region that pool their skills and resources to offer lifelong learning opportunities to adults. It draws on the facilities and human resources of these institutions to develop training programmes tailored to the local economy. It is managed under the aegis of the Ministry of National Education by the Lycée Lafayette in Clermont-Ferrand. Greta offers a wide range of training courses available in France for apprentices, employees, job seekers and citizens, preparing them for national diplomas, CEC levels 3 to 5 (and 6 in collaboration with universities), or developing specific skills (adaptation to the workplace, languages, etc.). It employs more than 200 permanent trainers and 1,000 freelancers, and provides around 1,000,000 hours of training per year. In 2023, 450 different training courses welcomed 5,300 people. Greta Auvergne has its own Consulting, Research and Innovation department, responsible for managing European activities, located in Le Puy-en-Velay.
